MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Another 500,000 face masks has been flown to New Hampshire.

A 737 carrying the medical-grade masks landed at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport on Saturday.

Gov. Chris Sununu, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, New Hampshire businessman Dean Kamen and Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun were on hand for the delivery.

The masks will be distributed at no cost to facilities across the state.

Kamen spearheaded the effort to acquire the masks. Saturday’s delivery follows last
Sunday’s shipment of 91,000 pounds of PPE to the state — a delivery that was also facilitated by Kamen.

Boeing covered the transportation costs for Saturday’s shipment. The delivery is Boeing’s “first cargo transport mission on a company-owned corporate 737-700,” Sununu’s office said in a statement.
