A new docuseries hosted by actor and motorsports enthusiast Keanu Reeves will chronicle Cadillac’s journey to join the Formula 1 race as the luxury automotive brand prepares to hit the grid next year.
Reeves, 60, unveiled the forthcoming documentary series on Wednesday. The program will follow Cadillac’s efforts, alongside its parent company General Motors and TWG Motorsports, to build the American Formula 1 team from the ground up.
“Audiences will get an intimate look at the unique challenges of assembling a competitive team on an accelerated timeline and receive a first-hand account of the vision behind establishing a distinctly American presence in a sport long dominated by European powerhouses,” a July 2 statement from TWG Motorsports reads.
Cadillac is the first new team to join Formula 1 since 2016, when the Haas racing team was added, and will be the 11th team to tackle the track in early 2026.
In the statement, Reeves, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, said he was “very honored and excited” to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Cadillac’s foray into the world of Formula 1 racing.
“Our goal with the docuseries is to bring audiences into the heart of this journey and showcase what it takes to participate in one of the most exclusive sports arenas in the world,” the actor said.

The “John Wick” star made his own professional auto-racing debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in October 2024. The following month, his 2023 Disney+ docuseries “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story,” about the motor racing team Brawn GP, took home an International Emmy Award for Best Sports Documentary.
The actor’s new docuseries is expected to air ahead of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s debut at the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, which opens with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 5 of that year.
